Czechoslovakian mystery keyboard

I got this device from my school, from a friend. It looked interesting and I needed (OK, maybe not needed, but was very interested) to know what it actually was. So, here's the thing: write into the guestbook what you think it is, and I'll link to your page and give you credits for the discovery. I'm not sure how I will determine which answer is correct, but I hope one will be. I know that it connects up to a bigger system. If anyone would know what that system is, please share!

Notes from what I've gathered so far: It's some czechoslovakian keyboard with a small magnetic core memory. It's most likely meant to be interfaced into some obscure ancient soviet system. Heck, just look at the connectors!
